Didn't go well. The house has water damage, structural damage, possible termites, and electrical problems. Thats all we really know right now. Will post more later.

It is good to know that stuff before you move in. You can also request that the seller fixs it before closing. That's what we had to do. It will save you money in the long run.

I'll answer here. Keep in mind, these are my thoughts.
I am going to second everything that Mark just said. The things that bother him also turned us away from a few houses. You also will probably change very little after you move in. So be prepared for that.
However, I will add this. Have you heard
I typed out a list when I moved in of all the things the inspector said needed addressing. Half of them still aren't done.
I'm hoping once we get the house cleaned up to get another inspection done so I can get to things before the buyers f
I watch too much HGTV and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
